“Sure you do.” He teased, rolling his own eyes playfully just like the girl had done. Austen knew that surprises probably weren’t such a good idea but he just wanted to do something really nice for the girl because he really hadn’t done anything like it in such a long time. As the male drove the two of them to where he had secretly set up an evening for her —— he thought about how he managed to let it get this bad between them. His younger self would have been so disappointed in him right now, he couldn’t even think about it anymore. Austen wouldn’t dwell on it anymore, he would just…try to make things better now. That was all he could do to get the old Austen and Melissa back. “I love you too, Mel. More than you will ever know.” His voice was as quiet as Melissa’s had been, a more than genuine smile forming on his face. He was actually really quite happy for once, something that he hadn’t been in so long. It was a feeling that he had missed and was glad that it was back —- even if it was possibly just here for a short amount of time, he would cherish it. “Yeah, yeah. Trust me the wait will seriously be worth it. I think it might remind you of something actually.” He said sweetly, his infamous grin on his face. All he wanted to do right now was to lean over and kiss the girl as much as he could — but he would save and wait till they got to where they were going. The longer he made himself wait, the better and more special it would be.

The brunette let herself fall back in her seat, hiding her face behind her hands. “I hate you so much!” She then said again. “Can we just go already? You’re making me even more curious than I already am. Seriously, it’s getting worse the more you tell me about it!” Melissa complained, wanting him to just take her to her surprise already. But well, the female just knew how much he liked to tease her and he knew that he could tease her even with the smallest things. If the car wasn’t going to move away from their house anytime soon, one of his brothers might notice and think of a reason to annoy them with a problem Faith or Maxim might have. “Austen please? Either tell me or start driving,” she muttered, now looking at him once again. Pulling the cutest puppy face that she was able to do, she kept staring at him. He would break down and tell her at some point, that was something that Mel knew for a fact. “Or, we could also stay in the car and have some fun here, if you know what I mean,” the brunette then smirked, leaning over to the male and placing a few pecks over his jawline, trying to show him what she meant; even though she was pretty sure that he already knew.
